Change is hard for me. I find comfort with things that I know and have experienced. I tend to push back when others suggest that I should “think outside the box.” Why would I need to, when I’m perfectly comfortable inside the box? I love this box!
Facing the unknown can be scary. I am comfortable creating these posts in an ordinary way and am now experimenting with colour and special additions to increase interest and pizzazz to regular words.
Here are a few thoughts I found about change, located at thepioneerwoman.com.
“Moving doesn’t change who you are. It only changes the view outside your window.” – Rachel Hollis

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” – Wayne W. Dyer

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” – Barack Obama

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” – Mother Theresa

“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” – Alan Watts

We can all learn to do hard things. At times, even teachers need to listen to the lessons we teach others. Let’s join the dance!
